New Movie Reviews: Sicko, 1408, and Evan Almighty
Michael Moore's latest work of "informational entertainment," Sicko, is a brutal indictment of the American health care system. New HD DVD Reviews include: Lost in Translation - a little gem of a movie that blew up into a massive gem of a picture gets a solid release in HD; The Frighteners (Director's Cut) - Ambitious, offbeat, but wildly uneven, The Frighteners is a dated visual effects spectacle; Black X-mas (2006) - the spirit and playfulness of a mid-'80s slasher that is a hell of a lot of fun and a much-needed change of pace from the recent sadistic torture-porn.
