This week The DVD Savant takes a look at: The Little Prince - Stanley Donen's odd children's musical, The Molly Maguires - Martin Ritt and Walter Bernstein combine for an unheralded story about violent subversion in the Pennsylvania coal mines of 1876, The 300 Spartans - an earnest but stiff tale of Greek patriotism at the battle of Thermopylae, Prince Valiant - Bewigged Robert Wagner is the straight man for a fun comic book Camelot adventure, with plenty of fat Vikings, sneering treachery and good action setpieces and Desk Set - Tracy and Hepburn are charming in a story about the threat of the computer to the American workplace. Read all this and more in this week's DVD Savant.
