Anime Talk: Aeon Flux, Boxed Sets Galore and The Fuccons
With the holidays coming, many anime producers are releasing their back catalog in series sets. This week Anime Talk looks at some of these collections and lets you know which ones to hint for and which ones to avoid. There are capsule reviews for Aeon Flux, Those Who Hunt Elves, Kaleido Star, Requiem from the Darkness, The Robotech Protoculture Collection, and many more. We also have an early look at The Fuccons, a decidedly odd show featuring mannequins in all the roles. Check out Chris Tribbey's thoughts on the show this week too. In addition there's our usual table of upcoming titles and Holly returns for more Anime bargains. Make sure you don't miss our previous installments featuring Hakugei: Legend of the Moby Dick, the problems with Final Fantasy VII, and Ghost in the Shell SAC: 2nd Gig.

DVD Savant: Adventures of Superman, The Sound of Music and Oklahoma
This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews including: Billion Dollar Brain - Michael Caine returns for a third go as Harry Palmer, workaday secret agent; The Concert for Bangladesh - The 1972 concert film looks a lot better on DVD than it did blown up to 70mm from cropped 16mm; The Sound of Music 40th Anniversary Edition - Fox's gargantuan two disc set has (finally) a good transfer of the film, along with a raft of good extras; The Fugitive Kind - Marlon Brando juggles Anna Magnani and Joanne Woodward in Tennesse William's grim allegory, out of director Sidney Lumet; Adventures of Superman The Complete First Season - Warners controls most of the various film incarnations of Superman and does affectionate justice to the show's crime-flavored first season; Oklahoma! - Fox brings out a double disc set with extensive extras on everyone's favorite Rodgers and Hammerstein musical; The Missouri Breaks - Jack Nicholson and Marlon Brando chew up the sagebrush scenery quite well until Brando goes screwy on us. Read all this and more in this week's DVD Savant.

XBox 360 - Your Complete Guide
One of the biggest home entertainment launches this year is the XBOX 360 (on 11/22). Not only is the system the next step in HD video gaming, it's also a huge leap towards the 'One Box' media solution that we see as ultimately being the focal point for all home entertainment. Our Video Game Talk crew is gearing up to cover this exciting platform and it's associated games. This week Video Game Talk reviewer Michael Flay has pulled together a complete guide to Xbox 360 including everything you possibly need to know about the system, exactly what the options are, and where you can get one. Read the guide here. We've also been quite busy reviewing the latest games for PS2, Xbox, PSP as well as an ever growing collection of PSP/UMD movie reviews.
