Anime Talk: Last Exile Box Set and Divergence Eve: The Misaki Chronicles
As the holidays approach, more and more anime boxed sets are being released. This week Anime Talk has a look at a few more collections including excellent Last Exile, the amusing Happy Lesson set, and the interesting Chrono Crusade. Chris Tribbey has an early look at Divergence Eve: The Misaki Chronicles which is actually more entertaining than the original series, something that doesn't happen too often. We round out this installment with Holly's anime bargains and our table of upcoming titles. DVD Savant: Airplane and War of The Worlds

Edition - Practically the entire air crew gangs up for the extra content on this special edition; Fear and Trembling - an odd French film about a Belgian woman who takes a job in a Japanese company and suffers the slings and arrows of an outrageous cultural disconnect; Where the Sidewalk Ends - murky morality clashes with Hollywood formulas in this Otto Preminger noir; Shoot the Piano Player - Francois Truffaut second feature tackling American pulp fiction; Kiss of Death - Victor Mature thinks he's a reforming crook, but he can't handle a real crook, Richard Widmark's reptilian Tommy Udo; The Tunnel - A topnotch suspense tale with great characters and a nail-biting finish; War of the Worlds Two Disc Limited Edition Steven Spielberg's intense remake of the H.G. Clip of The Week: Bill Hicks: Sane Man and Salvation
Legendary comedian Bill Hicks passed away in 1994 but his legend continues to grow. Now Ryko released more never before seen Bill Hicks including The Bill Hicks Sane Man DVD and Bill Hicks Salvation 2 Disc CD. Ryko has provided us with a number of great clips from both the DVD and CD. From Sane Man: footage of Bill Hicks talking about evolution of the south, Keith Richards and Non-Smokers.
