New Movie Reviews: Stranger than Fiction, Fur, and A Good Year
Will Ferrell takes his funny-man act to a more serious level in Marc Forster's Stranger than Fiction. Emma Thompson and Dustin Hoffman co-star in this smart comedy about fate, love, and little bit of writer's block. Stranger than Fiction opens wide this weekend. Also in theaters this week is Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus - Nicole Kidman leads the way as the legendary photographer in Steven Shainberg's dreamy, fantastical not-quite-biopic; A Good Year - Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe re-team for this light comedy, but the results are far from that of their previous collaboration; and Harsh Times - Christian Bale stars in David Ayer's latest foray into the gritty Los Angeles criminal life. Be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films: Fuck, Copying Beethoven, Borat, Flushed Away, Dixie Chicks: Shut Up & Sing, Santa Clause 3, Saw III, Death of a President, Catch a Fire, Babel, Flags of our Fathers, The Prestige. As always, we invite you to share your thoughts on films in theaters in our Movie Talk Forum Area.

Clip of The Week: The Blood of My Brother
This week we have a look at Life Size Entertainment's highly acclaimed The Blood of My Brother. This documentary takes you behind the scenes of the war in Iraq and shows you it from an Iraqi perspective. The Blood of My Brother is the closest most will ever come to being there, kneeling in prayer amidst a thousand Muslim worshippers, the roar of low-flying Apaches, riding atop a sixty-ton tank, driving with masked resistance fighters to attack American positions, fleeing the threat of an overwhelming response, the blood in the street, a tank on fire, or the cold, distant stare of a dead Iraqi fighter. It's a startling view of a war that you've never seen. Watch a clip from The Blood of My Brother. ( Get more information on the Blood of My Brother DVD here). Be sure to catch past week's clips at DVD Talk TV.
