New Movie Reviews: Knocked Up, Mr. Brooks, and Day Watch
Ah...the dreaded one night stand that doesn't exactly go as planned. If you've never experienced it, Knocked Up is here to show you what it's all about. Judd Apatow (Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, and The 40-Year-Old Virgin) proves, once again, that he's a genius writer/director by knocking it out of the park with his latest comedy starring Seth Rogan and Katherine Heigl. It's funny, heartfelt, and simply a whole lot of fun. Knocked Up opens everywhere this weekend. Also in theaters this week is Mr. Brooks - Kevin Costner gets creeptastic and Demi Moore is back in this interesting cat-and-mouse thriller; Day Watch - the highly-anticipated sequel to the much buzzed about Russian flick Night Watch; and Severance - this film can simply be described as The Office meets Hostel. Be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films: Crazy Love, Gracie, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, Bug, Shrek the Third, Delta Farce, 28 Weeks Later, Georgia Rule, The Ex. As always, we invite you to share your thoughts on films in theaters in our Movie Talk Forum Area.
