Recently Announced Discs: The Closer, Leverage, and Life
The Some excellent titles have been announced recently including: The Closer: The Complete Fifth Season on DVD - TNT's excellent detective show will reappear on DVD on 6/29/10; Leverage: The Complete Second Season on DVD - Another great show airing on TNT... this fun and energetic program is a must see. It will arrive on 5/25/10; and Life on DVD and Blu-ray - the BBC's follow up to 2007's Planet Earth, this will be released in two versions: the original narrated by David Attenborough and a dub made specifically for America, with the narration provided by Oprah Winfrey. DVD Savant: Clash of the Titans, The Informant! and Ponyo
Clash of the Titans This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews and articles including: Clash of the Titans - The flashy new remake has prompted a Blu-ray release of Ray Harryhausen's final Dynamation spectacle; The Informant! - Steven Soderbergh's funny-painful black comedy is also the completely true story of a corporate officer who blows the whistle on price-fixing organized on a vast scale.
