DVD Savant: Jason and the Argonauts, Night Train to Munich, and Pretty Baby
Jason and the Argonauts This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews and articles including: Jason and the Argonauts - Ray Harryhausen's personal favorite of his films is a mythological marvel, presented in a nicely-appointed (and overdue) HD transfer; Night Train to Munich - Suave counterspy Rex Harrison penetrates the headquarters of the Nazi command to engineer the escape of a scientist and his beautiful daughter Margaret Lockwood. This is the one with the wild finale at an alpine aerial tramway; and Pretty Baby - Adorable Betsy Drake shows unmistakable star quality in this funny, almost-classic farce about an ambitious office girl and the doll she uses to get a seat on the crowded New York Subway. Read all this and more in this week's DVD Savant.
