The Top Releases of 2010
The Top Releases of 2010 Looking back on it, 2010 was a pretty good year for movies, both theatrically and on home video. From big budget Hollywood flicks to foreign films and classic movies in HD, the past year saw some great releases. The DVD Talk review panel got together to pick the best of the best, and after two rounds of voting and much gnashing of teeth, here are the results. There are some surprising choices, and some truly great releases didn't quite make it, but that's what happens when you get a group of film geeks together. In any case, all of the entries are top-notch movies and TV shows that deserve a little extra time in the spotlight. Be sure to check out our Best of 2010 lists to discover if your favorite release made the list.

DVDTalk Interview: Bruce Campbell Talks about The Evil Dead

Bruce Campbell Talks about The Evil Dead The Evil Dead is a classic horror film for a variety of reasons, but one of the many main reasons is Bruce Campbell's character Ash. He's your average Joe and also a total dope, the latter making him even more charming. DVDTalk writer Jack Giroux had a chance to chat with the iconic star about shooting the film that lauched his career. Read what he had to say in the latest DVDTalk interview. Be sure to check out our earlier interviews too including a Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World Roundtable Discussion, and a Chat with the Spierig Brothers.

Anime Talk: Birdy the Mighty, Nyan Koi and more One Piece
Anime Talk It's time for the last installment of Anime Talk for 2010. We don't need to mention that the Holidays are just around the corner and winter is pretty much here to stay for the next couple of months. What does all this mean? Well, I'm sure your wallets are taking a hit like ours are, but it also means that hopefully there's some downtime as well. I think you can figure out how we're going to spend our downtime: watching anime! A few titles have come our way over the past month or so and we've tackled as many as possible. We also have some manga reviewed this time around and a figure review has been included as well. WTK has also been keeping an eye on bargains aplenty, and though most of the Black Friday deals have come and gone, there are still some sweet savings out there. Read about all this and more in this month's Anime Talk!
