TV on DVD: True Detective, The Comedians, and Art of the Heist
Interested in the latest TV on DVD reviews? DVD Talk has you covered! This week's notable entries include:
True Detective: The Complete Second Season - the show's neo-noir atmosphere and some compelling lead performances by Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell provide a strong enough foundation for the show to weather its flaws; The Comedians: The Complete Series - this show follows Billy Crystal and Josh Gad as they make a TV comedy show (think The Office and it has its moments; and Art of the Heist - portraits of some of the world's most notorious art thefts and forgeries... a cozy, somewhat dated program with a few decent stories to tell.
