4K UHD Reviews: Mission: Impossible, Terminator 2, and Forrest Gump
Have you upgraded to a 4K system in order to get the most out our your home theater? If so, check out these recent reviews of some popular UHD titles:
Mission: Impossible - director Brian De Palma's film has some strong performances and a solid screenplay which means it holds up very well given its age; Terminator 2 - one of the biggest and best action blockbusters of all time on a format that really should have offered fans better results; and Forrest Gump - this remains excellent entertainment with multi-generational appeal.

Recent Notable Releases: Mr. Destiny, Dagon, and Village of the Damned
Several great movies and programs have come out recently, including a few that shouldn't be missed:
Mr. Destiny - an enjoyable little flick with a great cast and a fun premise that doesn't wear out its welcome; Dagon - a criminally underrated, early 2000s horror offering and some of director Stuart Gordon's all-time best work… easily one of the most thematic and affecting adaptations of H.P. Lovecraft's work to date; and Village of the Damned - a must-see for every genre hound and the great A/V transfer sweetens the deal.

New Reviews: Rampage, The Last House on the Left, and I Called Him Morgan
Some cool discs have been reviewed over the past week. Check out these recent entries:
Rampage - a fun adaptation, they got the spirit just right, and Dwayne Johnson was the perfect choice for the lead role; The Last House on the Left (1972) - the film is brutally effective, and inspired a host of imitators… horror fans are going to love Arrow Video's Limited Edition release, this three-disc set offers restored picture, exhaustive extras, a soundtrack CD and handsome packaging; and I Called Him Morgan - murdered at the age of 33 by his common-law wife Helen, legendary jazz trumpeter Lee Morgan is the subject of this solid documentary by Swedish director Kasper Collin.
