More TV shows have made their way on to DVD and Blu-ray, and DVD Talk has got them covered. Check out our reviews of the newest TV releases including:
Gravity Falls: The Complete Series - Collector's Edition - packed with an incredibly high ratio of fantastic slapstick jokes, a delightful cast of characters, and one of the most incredible characters ever created for TV, the show and this incredibly fantastic Blu-ray box set are both highly recommended; Documentary Now! - Seasons 1 & 2 - an unavoidably tough watch, but it's one of the better apocalyptic dramas of its era… it has aged surprisingly well and can be considered a career highlight for almost everyone involved; and Happy Endings - The Complete Series - an unavoidably tough watch, but it's one of the better apocalyptic dramas of its era… it has aged surprisingly well and can be considered a career highlight for almost everyone involved.

Recent Notable Releases: Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, The Tree of Life, and The Pyjama Girl Case
Some pretty cool discs have made their way to store shelves over the past couple of weeks. Check out these new titles:
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - this film features a few flashes of brilliance, an exhilarating finale, and gorgeous cinematography, but all of this is undercut by a script that is awful; The Tree of Life: Criterion Collection - Terrence Malick's movie is a polarizing film from a polarizing director but this new extended version feels like a more complete, better-paced film than the 2011 theatrical cut; and The Pyjama Girl Case - this well-crafted and deeply affecting film deserves to be more widely celebrated than it has been Arrow Video is certainly doing their part… this disc boasts a marvelous presentation and nearly four hours of extras.

New Reviews: RBG, Book Club, and The Hired Hand
Some great DVD and Blu-ray reviews have been added to the the DVD
Talk Review Database recently including:
RBG - this documentary about Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg probably won't change your mind about this physically small but socially towering figure, yet it will certainly give you a more complete picture about her life and how much she had to sacrifice for justice; Book Club - Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, and Diane Keaton star in this film that is real, subtle and complex, and all involved… it is a nice breath of vitality into the romantic comedy genre for the older set; and The Hired Hand - an excellent release for this oft-neglected and underrated directorial effort from Peter Fonda. Bold performances combine with indelibly unique atmosphere to create a should-be cult classic.
