Several great movies and programs have come out recently, including a few that shouldn't be missed: Queen of Outer Space - showcasing a top-shelf presentation and a marvelous audio commentary, this film is a borderline-essential purchase for schlock cinema fanatics; The Day of the Jackal - this movie hasn't been represented too well on video before, the DVD release was a featureless non-anamorphic disc, but Arrow delivers a great presentation here along with some substantial extras; and Punisher: War Zone (4K UHD) - essential viewing for fans of Garth Ennis' grindhouse-inspired run on the book… its unhinged, blood-drenched camp is well worth revisiting on Ultra HD thanks to some smoldering HDR, a top-shelf Atmos remix, and an awfully alluring price tag.
