New DVD Reviews: Gamera, No Time for Sergeants, and Sherlock Holmes
Gamera - The Giant Monstern Our reviewers have been busy this week, filling the DVD Talk Review Database more great entries. Some new reviews of note include: Gamera - The Giant Monster - the film is a lot of fun and this 16:9 transfer provides American viewers the first real opportunity to see the film on big, widescreen TVs in all its city-smashing glory; No Time for Sergeants - this classic film still works thanks to Andy Griffith's and Myron McCormick's brilliant byplay; and Sherlock Holmes - this romp down Baker St. yields an undeniably invigorating cinematic experience. Other recent reviews include: 35 Shots Of Rum, Mine, and Jade Warrior.  Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
