New DVD Reviews: Jackie Brown, A Quiet Place in the Country, and The Last House on the Left
This week the DVD Talk Review Database has some great new entries, including a few discs you may have overlooked.
Recent DVD reviews include: Jackie Brown - Quentin Tarantino's only "straight" crime thriller is a masterful adaptation of an Elmore Leonard tale; A Quiet Place in the Country - Writer/director Elio Petri creates a completely unstable environment for his tale of personal madness, artistic chaos, and supernatural violence; and The Last House on the Left - as confrontational and disturbing as ever and this Blu-ray offers it up in the best quality we've seen on home video so far.
Other recent reviews include: The Strange Case of Angelica; Visions of Eight, and Frankenhooker. Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
