Another banner week for DVDs with the studios releasing some great films and boxed sets such as: The In-Laws - this film is so fun and breezy that it holds up well to multiple viewings, driven by the stars Alan Arkin and Peter Falk, an exemplary supporting cast and an outstanding writing and directing team; Only Yesterday - thanks to Gkids, this animated coming-of-age drama from Studio Ghibli is finally available on home video in the US... and it is a masterpiece; and Blood and Black Lace - Mario Bava's semianl film has been meticulous restorated and the picture looks simply stunning on this Blu-ray.
