Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Beyond the Known Universe TV on DVD and Blu-ray remains very popular with more and more favorites being released. New TV reviews include: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Beyond the Known Universe - this fourth season gets off to a terrific start with a bold new direction and a longer story arc that rewards patient fans with plenty of action, drama, and nostalgic winks from the past; Game of Thrones: The Complete Third Season (Steelbook Edition) - This newly released, Limited Edition Steelbook version offers new Dolby Atmos audio and the same great picture and supplements as the previous release; and Spoils Before Dying - this second mini-series parody by Matt Piedmont and Andrew Steele is filled with the writer's bizarre alternative humor, deadpan performances, the ridiculously over the top production design. DVD Talk Interview: Paul Feig
DVD Talk Interview: Paul Feig It'd be a good week to go to the movies. Here are DVD Talk's recent theatrical reviews: When Paul Feig was working on The Office in 2008, he felt a little slime-green with envy as two of his colleagues, Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, were offered the chance to help write Ghostbusters 3. Little did he know that he was only a few years away from directing a string of blockbuster comedies: Bridesmaids, The Heat, and Spy, all of which he made with breakout star Melissa McCarthy (who joined a rare club of comic actors when she was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance as brash but kind-hearted Megan in Bridesmaids). Now, it's his former "Office"-mates' turn to be jealous, as Feig tackled both co-writing and directing duties on this summer's Ghostbusters, a reboot of the franchise that reunites him with McCarthy and Kristen Wiig, as well as Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Feig was nice enough to clear a bit of time in his schedule to talk with DVDTalk over the phone, just days before his biggest movie yet opens in theaters. Read what he had to say in the latest exclusive DVD Talk Interview.

This Week's Notable Releases: The In-Laws, Only Yesterday, and Blood and Black Lace
The In-Laws Another banner week for DVDs with the studios releasing some great films and boxed sets such as: The In-Laws - this film is so fun and breezy that it holds up well to multiple viewings, driven by the stars Alan Arkin and Peter Falk, an exemplary supporting cast and an outstanding writing and directing team; Only Yesterday - thanks to Gkids, this animated coming-of-age drama from Studio Ghibli is finally available on home video in the US... and it is a masterpiece; and Blood and Black Lace - Mario Bava's semianl film has been meticulous restorated and the picture looks simply stunning on this Blu-ray. New Reviews: Return of the Killer Tomatoes, Rollercoaster, and Clouds of Sils Maria
Return of the Killer Tomatoes Check out the latest reviews that have been entered into the DVD Talk Review Database including: Return of the Killer Tomatoes - one of the funniest and most underappreciated comedies of the decades... it comes highly recommended; Rollercoaster - the cat-and-mouse maneuvers between stars George Segal and Timothy Bottoms make this 1977 thriller really worth watching; and Clouds of Sils Maria: The Criterion Collection - Olivier Assayas wraps up a meditative premise with decent, overly enigmatic drama in this tale of an aging actress who ruminates on her career as she prepares to play the lead character opposite the one that made her a star in her youth. Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
