TV on DVD: Teen Titans Go!, Dean Martin Roasts, and Barney Miller
Teen Titans Go!: Appetite For Disruption - Season 2, Part 1 Interested in the latest TV on DVD reviews? DVD Talk has you covered! This week's notable entries include: Teen Titans Go!: Appetite For Disruption - Season 2, Part 1 - one of the silliest animated programs to ever air on Cartoon Network... a goofy comedy-fest of hijinks and that is exactly where the charm of the program lies; Dean Martin Roasts: Hall of Famers - there are elements of these roasts that haven't aged well but it's fun to watch these celebs cut loose and have fun, and fascinating to look back at a very different time; and Barney Miller: Season 7 - one of the first comedies that believed in characters and story as well as the jokes, this show serves as a touchstone for any self-respecting television aficionado. Other shows recently reviewed include:  Mortal Kombat: Conquest - The Complete Series, Nickelodeon Favorites: Springtime Adventures, and Dean Martin Roasts: Stingers & Zingers.  Want more?  Check out all of the TV on DVD reviews in the DVD Talk database.

DVD Savant: Michael Collins, The Premature Burial, and Richard III
Michael Collins This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews and articles including: Michael Collins - Neil Jordan's epic looks at a great man central to Ireland's history and Liam Neeson is better than perfect to play the rebel-revolutionary who forced England to the bargaining table after 700 years of domination; The Premature Burial - Roger Corman's solitary non-Vincent Price Poe feature doesn't get half the love it deserves, but this HD presentation is a vast improvement on earlier home video editions; and Richard III - Ian McKellen co-wrote and stars in a wildly imaginative, visually energized version of Shakespeare's play, relocating the action to a fantasy fascist England in the 1930s. Read all this and more in this week's DVD Savant.
