Notable Releases: Jigsaw, The Witches, and Kameradschaft
Several great movies and programs have come out recently, including a few that shouldn't be missed:
Jigsaw (4K UHD) - precisely what you'd expect, another Saw film… if you're looking for the victims to be just as hateable and disposable, the mystery as convoluted as ever, and the traps as gruesome, you'll be satisfied; The Witches - a heady mix of arthouse style, horror movie tropes and quirky comedy, if this movie isn’t always entirely successful, it is always very interesting; and Kameradschaft: Criterion Collection - G.W. Pabst's film is a claustrophobic, gripping, and important film that has aged about as well as any film approaching its ninth decade of existence.

New Reviews: Blade Runner 2049, The Lego Ninjago Movie, and Pom Poko
Check out the latest reviews that have been entered into the DVD
Talk Review Database including:
Blade Runner 2049 - while the visuals (and the soundtrack that accompanies them) are dazzling, this sequel/reboot to the 1982 cult classic doesn't really cover any new ground; The Lego Ninjago Movie - a film that has enough laughs and emotional gravitas to be a pleasant experience for the whole family; and Pom Poko: Collector's Edition - aone of most underrated Ghibli films to date, director Isao Takahata's movie is the least typical Studio Ghibli film in their back catalog.
