I love you man, but really, Land of the Dead deserves little of the praise you lay upon it. While I applaud and enjoy the intelligent writing and characters, the movie just never worked. My guess is the budget was far too low to pull off the big-picture. I thought the whole world was over-run by Zombies now.....yet the most we see at any one time is like...50? 100? A walled city cant fight off a few hundred lumbering zombies? Lame.

Learning Zombies? As soon as zombies start talking to each other and obeying commands, they aren't the creepy reanimated corpses of the first films...suddenly....they're just....well, they're like just a bunch of homeless people.
