Schlockcast: Lost in Space

The Space Family Robinson may never have made it back to Earth, but nearly 40 years later, all three seasons of the camp classic Lost in Space have safely emerged in the digital domain. This schlockcast marks the momentous occasion with a special salute to "The Great Vegetable Rebellion."

Whilst strapped into the way-back machine, we zip forward to the '80s actioner Airwolf starring CineSchlocker faves Jan-Michael Vincent and Ernest Borgnine. DA! Da-da-da-da!

Meanwhile, CineSchlock-O-Rama's Most Wanted celebrates the capture of Soggy Bottom U.S.A. after 142 harrowing weeks on the lam! However, my memories of the picture as an 8-year-old don't quite match up with reality, especially having since been perverted by this old bait 'n' switch VHS cover ...

No shine-swillin' Daisy Duke double at all! Sigh. The flatulent pooch I remembered was there, though, which must be what they meant by "raunchy" and "rowdy" in regard to this chicken-fried hoot.

Our schlockcast concludes with rapid-fire takes on Fire and Ice, Razorteeth and the Triple-X gorefest Slaughter Disc: A Tale from the Carnal Morgue. Listen using the handy Online DVD Talk Radio Player or download the complete schlockcast (21 mins, 12.2 mb).
