Recent Reviews: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Young Frankenstein, and Spartacus
Our reviewers have been busy this week, filling the DVD Talk Review Database more great entries. Some new reviews of note include:
Captain America: The Winter Soldier - a genuine crowd pleaser, providing laughs, emotion, and thrills, while also giving a little more depth than your standard superhero movie... it's also the rare sequel that bests the original; Young Frankenstein: 40th Anniversary - a brilliant parody and the best work Mel Brooks has ever done... while the new releases does not offer anything new, if you don't already have this film on Blu, the quality presentation and fine extras are well worth owning; and Spartacus: The Complete Series - if you dig action and drama and intrigue and suspense all ramped up to ridiculous extremes, the show is a whole lot of fun.
Other recent reviews include: The Originals: Season 1, Careful, He Might Hear You, and Hannibal: Season Two. Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
