New Movie Reviews: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay and Keep On Keepin' On
It'd be a good weekend to go to the movies. Here are DVD Talk's recent theatrical reviews:
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I - a perfect example of a final entry that didn't need to be separated into two films... part one is practically starved of the impact that this franchise is famous for; Keep On Keepin' On - you don't have to know jazz to enjoy the new music documentary about trumpet player Clark Terry and one of his protégés - his one-liners and homilies will have you laughing just as much as his famous tunes will have you tapping your toes; and A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night - more than your typical vampire flick,it's an intriguing look at two people who are simply looking for a clean slate to start a better life.
Other recent films include: Big Hero 6, Interstellar, The Theory of Everything, John Wick, Laggies, John Wick, Laggies, Force Majeure, Birdman, Fury, Dracula Untold, Gone Girl, Harmontown, A Walk Among the Tombstones, and The Maze Runner.
