Movies in Theaters: Steve Jobs, Suffragette, and Spectre
Planning a trip to the local multiplex this weekend? Here are DVD Talk's reviews of the latest theatrical releases:
Steve Jobs - a fast-paced, emotional, uncomfortable, and sometimes overwhelming all-access pass to the life of the revolutionary man; Suffragette - this story of the women's rights movement in early 1900s England is inspirational, well-paced, and genuine; and Spectre [a second review] - the fourth Bond film since Casino Royale's reboot, it's littered with evidence that the producers of the series still haven't quite figured out what James Bond means in the 21st century.
Other recent films include: Bridge of Spies, Room , Sicario, Pan, The Martian (3D), Pawn Sacrifice, and Straight Outta Compton.
Check out these, and more, in DVDTalk's Theatrical Review section.

TV on DVD: Arrow, The Following, and My Little Pony
Interested in the latest TV on DVD reviews? DVD Talk has you covered! This week's notable entries include:
Arrow: Season 3 - while it's true that this is the most dour season of Arrow yet, it feels like a natural progression given what a dark and gritty show it's always been; The Following: The Complete Third Season - Kevin Bacon really anchors this series about a violent cult, and though this is the final season, there are still some bloody thrills to be had; and My Little Pony: Equestria Girls: Friendship Games - this second Equestria Girls offers a different, yet still entertaining take on the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic characters... the film keeps pace through quality animation, a fun sense of humor and an action-packed third act.

This Week's Notable Releases: Inside Out, Stung, and Richard Pryor
Another banner week for DVDs with the studios releasing some great films and boxed sets such as:
Inside Out [review] - one can't help but be enamored with the film, its characters, its story and its artistry, which is delivered with Pixar's trademark creativity, humor and heartfelt emotion; Stung [review] - a campy horror flick with an army of oversized insects skewering everyone and everything in sight; and Richard Pryor: American Id [review] - this book by former DVD Talk reviewer Jason Bailey is a well-researched selective exploration of Pryor's work, as a stand-up comedian, as an actor, and even as a celebrity in television interviews and is well worth picking up.
Be sure to check out our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
