New Movie Reviews: Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Starred Up, and The One I Love
It'd be a good weekend to go to the movies. Here are DVDTalk's recent theatrical reviews:
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For - there's a lot to really enjoy about this film... the violence and well-fitting dialogue is only made better by Eva Green's captivating performance; Starred Up - boasting an incredibly smooth sense of pacing, director David Mackenzie and writer Jonathan Asser have crafted an instant classic that puts other prison films to shame; and The One I Love - a smart and surprising take on the romantic comedy that adds an interesting dimension to the set-up of a troubled couple on a weekend retreat.
Other recent films include: Guardians of the Galaxy, Lucy, A Most Wanted Man, Magic in the Moonlight, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Boyhood, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Snowpiercer, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Snowpiercer, Chef, 22 Jump Street, How to Train Your Dragon 2, The Signal, Edge of Tomorrow, The Fault in Our Stars, Maleficent, Night Moves, A Million Ways to Die in the West, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Godzilla.
