It follows from the death of his father to his death and resurrection. The movie is very interesting as it puts a very modern twist on the story. For instance, when the devil is tempting Jesus into letting him stop his death, he shows him everything that happens in Jesus' name (the crusades, etc.), something that (to my knowledge) wasn't in past versions. Also, Jesus seems much friendlier and less "removed" than the Jesus in other films. Overall an enjoyable movie, whether you are a Christian or not.
The Picture: The picture is presented in it's original full screen. Some of the colors in this film are extremely clear and impressive, and the entire film is free of defect, which is why I gave it such a high rating.<...Read the entire review

Why did they make a second sequel when the first sequel was pretty bad? Then I remember little kids like anything (well, most of them). So of course they would make another one. Anyway. This movie isn't good for adults, however, children seem to like this movie, and that's who it is targeted at. The movie revolves around the same dog from the first two Beethovens, and the plot is also the same. Beethoven (now in the possesion of the original owners brother) is going on a roadtrip with the Newtons to a family reunion, where he will be delivered to his family. On the way, they encounter thieves, and Beethoven thwarts them. Amazing. It's just like the first two.
The Picture: The picture is 1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen. It revolves around a gambler, Nathan Detroit, and his bit that he can seduce a local missionary, who he eventually falls in love with. While enjoyable if you like musicals, for others it won't be very entertaining.
Picture: The picture is amazingly good for a movie that is 62 years old, and is free (for the most part) of defects. It is a very sharp print, certainly better than the VHS of it.
Sound: While remastered in Dolby Digital 5.1, the sound doesn't take advantage of the surround sound, not even during the musical numbers, where it could really add something. It is, however, quite audible, and is again better than the VHS versions that have previously been available.
Extras: The only extra is the Original Theatrical Trailer.
Conc...Read the entire review

As it happens, it is also one of my favorite movies of all time. The Princess Bride is a story of true love, revenge and bravery, set in Medieval Times in the fictional country of Florin. The story follows two people, Wesley and Buttercup, as Wesley fights his way to find her, his true love. She thinks him dead by the dread Pirate Roberts, but he survived only to be captured and tortured by her soon-to-be husband, Prince Humperdink. The Princess Bride is a great love story, and a great comedy as well, with excellent casting, such as the unrecognizeable Billy Crystal as Miracle Max. Picture: The picture is excellent, however, there were s...Read the entire review

He saves the Robot from being caught in the wires of a power station. Hogarth befriends the robot, who is very friendly towards Hogarth. Next comes along Agent Kent Mansley (Christopher McDonald), the government agent assigned to investigate strange activity. In order to avoid detection, Hogarth hides the Iron Giant in a scrap yard owned by the "hip" Dean McCoppin (Harry Connick Jr.), an "artist" that makes abstract art from his scrap metal. The metal-eating robot makes himself at home. Overall, this movie is extremely well done, and the animation is excellent.
