New DVD Reviews: The Three Stooges, A Christmas Tale, Ballast
The Three Stooges Collection - Volume 7 - 1952-1954 Our reviewers have been busy this week, filling the DVD Talk Review Database more great entries. Some new reviews of note include: The Three Stooges Collection - Volume 7 - with 3-D versions of two shorts and more new-to-DVD shorts than in the first three volumes combined, this set is highly recommended for Stooge fans; A Christmas Tale - Criterion Collection - Arnaud Desplechin's richly layered story of one French family's crises and reconciliation over a holiday is touching, surprising, and all-around involving; and Ballast - a spellbinding indie that wrings emotional honesty from deceptively spare filmmaking. Other recent reviews include: Disciples of Shaolin, Paraiso Travel, and WWE: Survivor Series Anthology, Vol. 1 - 1987-1991.  Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews.
