TV on DVD: Sarah Silverman, Doctor Who, and Patty Duke
Sarah Silverman Program: Season Two, Vol. 2 More TV shows have made their way on to DVD, and DVD Talk has got them covered. Check out our reviews of the newest TV releases including: Sarah Silverman Program: Season Two, Vol. 2 - a consistently funny show that continually finds new ways to build parodies of traditional sitcoms around the oh so charming and hilarious Sarah Silverman; Doctor Who: The Black Guardian Trilogy - a set of three Doctor Who adventures staring Peter Davison in the lead role that is quite good; and The Patty Duke Show: The Complete Second Season - A slight tweaking to the two main themes keep this show quite fresh and entertaining. Highly Recommended. With Alex Cord as a crazed hipster soldier of fortune; and Paris, Texas - Wim Wenders made an international splash with this quirky, intense tale of a father seeking to reunite the family he abandoned four years before. Read all this and more in this week's DVD Savant.
