New Game Reviews: Tron Evolution, Angry Birds, Green Hornet
tron evolution review Coinciding with the recent release of Tron Legacy, a game to bridge the gap between the two movies was released last month. Check out our complete review of Tron: Evolution for the Playstation 3. Also on the Playstation 3 and PSP, we took a look at the popular casual game Angry Birds. Over on the Xbox 360, we covered this week's RPG Venetica and Kinect enabled DanceMasters. Over on the Wii, we checked out Hudson's Lost in Shadow. Finally on mobile platforms, we reviewed Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective on the Nintendo DS and The Green Hornet on the iPhone / iPad. New Movie Reviews: The Green Hornet, The Dilemma, and Every Day
Seth Rogen brings laughs to a legendary superhero in Michel Gondry's oddball actioner The Green Hornet. Read reviews from Brian Orndorf, Jamie S. Rich, and Tyler Foster. Vince Vaughn and Kevin James deal with infidelity in Ron Howard's The Dilemma. And Liev Schreiber and Helen Hunt take on parenthood in the drama Every Day. Also in theaters: Paul Giamatti deals with Canada and Judaism in Barney's Version. Nicole Kidman mourns and questions in the searing drama Rabbit Hole. And Tony Jaa returns to crack heads and find inner peace in the sequel Ong Bak 3. TV on DVD: Mannix, Nip/Tuck, and The Lucy Show
Futurama: Volume Five TV on DVD remains very popular with more and more favorites being released. New TV reviews include: Mannix: The Fourth Season - Another smashing season from one of the top ten detective series in the history of television; Nip/Tuck: The Complete Series - a groundbreaking work of television that pushes boundaries while retaining a relatable, human core; and The Lucy Show - The Official Third Season - very entertaining and highly recommended. DVD Savant: Robinson Crusoe On Mars, Army of Shadows, and Heat Lightni
Robinson Crusoe On Mars This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews and articles including: Robinson Crusoe On Mars - This transplant of Daniel Defoe from a deserted island to the chilly Red Planet is a fairly impressive survival story, at least until Friday shows up along with some unlikely space slavers; Army of Shadows - Jean-Pierre Melville's taut, uncompromised story of the French resistance benefits from excellent performances from Lino Ventura and Simone Signoret; and Heat Lightning - A desert rest stop is the setting for passion and crime in this steamy Pre-code from Warner Bros. This Week's Notable DVDs: The Social Network, Once Upon a Time in America, and Hot in Cleveland
The Social Network There are some new titles coming out that might make it worth a trip to the video store this week. Check out these recent releases: The Social Network - Writer Aaron Sorkin and director David Fincher profile Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg in this critically acclaimed film; Once Upon a Time in America [Blu-ray review] - a stunning, staggering vision of this country during the first part of the 20th Century; and Hot in Cleveland: Season One [DVD review] - well beyond average, this is a pleasant, well-acted, old-school sitcom. New Game Reviews: Dead Rising 2: Case West, Fallout, X-Men
dead rising 2 case west review Published by Capcom, a co-op add on pack to the 2010 zombie killing game Dead Rising 2 was released recently. We also took a look at another add-on pack for another popular 2010 title, Fallout New Vegas: Dead Money, currently exclusive to the Xbox 360.
