Anime Talk: FMA: Brotherhood, Kaleido Star, and Black Butler
Anime Talk Welcome to the new year! 2010 was a blast and there was tons of fantastic anime that hit Japanese airwaves and US DVD shelves. 2011 promises to be a good year as well. Some great stuff pass through our hands this month such as Black Butler, another installment of Fullmetal Alchemist, and Kaleido Star. There was also some not-so-great stuff, but that's the same every month it seems. This time around we also have a figure review from Dance in the Vampire Bund courtesy of folks at Kotobukiya, and there's a selection of manga reviews here as well! As always WTK provides some great bargains for all you thrifty otaku. Read about all this and meet the new addition to our panel, Neil, in this month's Anime Talk!

New Movie Reviews: No Strings Attached, The Other Woman, and The Way Back

Natalie Portman returns to experience life as The Other Woman. And Jim Sturgess and Ed Harris walk the Earth in Peter Weir's The Way Back. Also in theaters: Paz Vega, Zoe Saldana, and Rosamund Pike experience trauma and irony in the anthology film Burning Palms. And a 1957 Lionel Rogosin picture returns to screens in On the Bowery. Be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films: The Green Hornet, The Dilemma, Every Day, Season of the Witch, Country Strong, Barney's Version, TRON: Legacy, True Grit, Little Fockers, The Fighter, The King's Speech, Black Swan, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. Rumpole of the Bailey: The Complete Series More TV shows have made their way on to DVD, and DVD Talk has got them covered. Check out our reviews of the newest TV releases including: Rumpole of the Bailey: The Complete Series - this 14 season show is astonishingly consistent...and consistently hilarious; Medium: The Sixth Season - a bright light in an otherwise (mostly) dim network lineup; and Cheyenne - Season 2: Parts One and Two - solid, entertaining Western fare, on a par with the best Western anthology series of the 1950s. Other shows recently reviewed include:  All in the Family: The Complete Eighth Season, United States of Tara: The Second Season, and Luther: Series One.  Want more?  Check out all of the TV on DVD reviews in the DVDTalk database.

These immigrants, Communists and fugitive Jews bombed and murdered the enemy undetected ... until they were betrayed; and The Window - Young Bobby Driscoll has told too many tall tales, and now his parents won't believe him when he sees his neigbors murder a man in their apartment upstairs.
