Other recent films include: Straight Outta Compton, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, Jurassic World, Mad Max: Fury Road , and The Man from U.N.C.L.E... Recent Reviews: That Guy Dick Miller, Agnes Varda in California, and Eskimo
That Guy Dick Miller It's been a great week for movie reviews here at DVD Talk. Here are some recently covered films that all come highly recommended: That Guy Dick Miller - this hugely enjoyable docu-bio tells the story of Dick Miller, a terrific movie personality who's largely unknown yet beloved by veteran movie fans everywhere ; Eclipse Series 43: Agnes Varda in California - an eclectic and beautifully realized set of films about life in Los Angeles from the French New Wave's unsung heroine; and Eskimo - this 1934 MGM production counts as one of those marvelous under-the-radar movies that emerge once every so often on Warner Archives... a captivating, surprisingly non-patronizing drama of primitive life among the natives on the Arctic circle. Other recent reviews include: La Grande Bouffe, The Harvest, and Lambert & Stamp.  Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
