TV on DVD: The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Once Upon a Time, and The Knick
The Man from U.N.C.L.E: The Complete Season 1 More TV shows have made their way on to DVD and Blu-ray, and DVD Talk has got them covered. Check out our reviews of the newest TV releases including: The Man from U.N.C.L.E: The Complete Season 1 - Warner Home Video is finally releasing this 60's spy show in single season sets... and in this inagural year the show is serious, dignified, and very enjoyable; Once Upon a Time: Season 4 - this program is full of great storytelling, imagination, and magic, and this season it does an excellent job of bringing in the characters from Frozen into this series' universe; and The Knick: The Complete First Season - Steven Soderbergh brings his experimental sensibility to episodic television again, and this time it works like a charm. This Week's Notable Releases: Mad Max: Fury Road, The Harvest, and Lost After Dark
Mad Max: Fury Road There are a few new releases this week that you won't want to miss. Check out these hot titles: Mad Max: Fury Road [review] - the Mad Max franchise returns, and it's still action, still over-the-top, and still insane... a wonderfully exciting and furiously entertaining film; The Harvest [review] - a truly terrifying horror film using a single location, a handful of characters and none of the flashy visuals contemporary filmmakers of the genre too often rely on; and Lost After Dark [review] - this 2014 film isn't just inspired by the slashers that littered theaters in the early '80s, it does its damndest to be one... fans of the genre need to check it out. Other reviews of note include: Boulevard [review], Mystery Science Theater 3000: Volume 1 (Shout! Factory Edition) [review], and Army Of Frankensteins [review]. Be sure to check out our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.

Recent Reviews: The Reivers, Hackers, and Day for Night
The Reivers Some great DVD and Blu-ray reviews have been added to the the DVD Talk Review Database recently including: The Reivers - in Steve McQueen's too-short starring career this movie ranks near the top... it's a terrific film ripe for discovery; Hackers - 20th Anniversary Edition - visually dazzling and oddly optimistic, Hackers is more than a cheesy techno-thriller from the mid '90s, it's a smart, energetic story about teenage rebellion with a genuine interest in what was once a small but thriving subculture; and Day for Night - eminently accessible and often quite magical, Day for Night gets a presentation and extras worthy of the film. Other recent reviews include: The Little House, Run of the Arrow, and Pelican Dreams.  Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
