New Movie Reviews: Duplicity, Knowing, and I Love You, Man
Clive Owen and Julia Roberts are corporate spies looking for a way to find love in the caper Duplicity. Nicolas Cage has a map to the end of the world in the Alex Proyas sci-fi thriller Knowing. And Paul Rudd and Jason Segel team up to explore male friendship in the hilarious comedy I Love You, Man. DVD Talk critics Brian Orndorf and Jamie S. Rich feel the devotion. Also in theaters: The cult classic Troll 2 is explored to an uncomfortable degree in the delightful documentary Best Worst Movie. Horror hitches a ride in Shuttle. Colin Hanks tames John Malkovich in the mentalist comedy The Great Buck Howard. And the 1981 IRA starvation strike lead by Bobby Sands is recounted in the mesmerizing Hunger. Be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films: Last House on the Left, Sunshine Cleaning, Miss March, Race to Witch Mountain, Watchmen, The Edge of Love, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Coraline, Taken, and Slumdog Millionaire. As always, we invite you to share your thoughts on films In Theaters in our Movie Talk Forum.

DVD Savant: Let the Right One In, Happy-Go-Lucky, and Faust
Let the Right One In This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews including: Let the Right One In - Blu-ray. A swedish vampire tale that (finally) brings something truly original to the overworked genre. Unique, scary, and oddly romantic ...highly recommended; Happy-Go-Lucky - Sally Hawkins's Poppy isn't a mental case or a clown, but a woman with a refreshingly positive way of relating to the world. And she's no Pollyanna, as becomes obvious when her personality clashes with the intensely angry Scott (Eddie Marsdan); and Faust - F.W. Murnau's German classic has been restored to its original German version, with beautiful original intertitles. Kino Video's Restored Deluxe Edition presents two versions of the film and a fascinating long-form documentary. Read all this and more in this week's DVD Savant.
