DVD Savant: Straw Dogs, United 93, and The Entitled
Straw Dogs This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews and articles including: Straw Dogs - Dustin Hoffman trades his plastics for a pair of cracked glasses and a handful of improvised household defense weapons, as he holds off a drunken, brutal lynch mob in the lawless Wild West of England's Cornwall; United 93 - this account of the struggle on board a morning flight from Newark to San Francisco sticks to the known facts, to show the confusion and shock of the events of 9/11; and The Entitled - Desperate Kevin Zegers masterminds a three-way kidnapping & ransom caper, choosing two violent hotheads as his cohorts and targeting three hateful, spoiled-rotten rich kids.
