Below the Beltway is a satirical look into the mythical world of D.C. politics. Very few films have ever captured D.C. this way; it's an indie film that takes full advantage of the great locations. In those settings, the filmmakers made the nation's capital a true character in their film. DVDTalk writer Jack Giroux recently had a chance to talk with the creatvie crew behind the film. Read the latest DVDTalk interview to find out what writers Jim Wareck, Brad Weir, director Dave Fraunces, producer/co-star Spencer Garrett, and producer Claudia Myers had to say about the making-of Below the Beltway.
This week several great movies are coming out, including a few that shouldn't be missed: Bridesmaids [Blu-ray review] - an unassuming non-"chick flick" that knows how to deliver crass comedy with the best of 'em; The Others [Blu-ray review]- Superbly acted and quite suspenseful, this film will stick with you long after the credits roll; and Breakfast at Tiffany's [Blu-ray review] - a bonafide classic, most remembered for its delightful Audrey Hepburn performance.
Other reviews of note include: Terry Pratchett's Going Postal [DVD review], Blue Sunshine [DVD review], and Devil Within Her [DVD review].
