New Movie Reviews: Brave, Seeking a Friend, and To Rome With Love
This week in theaters, a Scottish princess takes her fate into her own hands in Pixar's latest, Brave. Steve Carell and Keira Knighley are Seeking a Friend for the End of the World; we've got reviews from Jamie S. Rich and Jason Bailey. And Woody Allen's world tour moves on to Italy in his new romantic comedy To Rome With Love. Also out this week: Emily Blunt, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Mark Duplass form an unexpected romantic triangle in Your Sister's Sister, Kirby Dick examines sexual assault in the armed forces in the searing documentary The Invisible War, and the Greta Gerwig-fronted indie rom-com Lola Versus moves into wider release. Be sure to catch our reviews of other recent theatrical films: Rock of Ages, Prometheus, Moonrise Kingdom, Safety Not Guaranteed, Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding, Snow White and the Hunstman, Men in Black III, and The Dictator.

TV on DVD: The Sarah Silverman Program, Top Gear 18, and Dog Bites Man
The Sarah Silverman Program: The Complete Series More TV shows have made their way on to DVD, and DVD Talk has got them covered. Check out our reviews of the newest TV releases including: The Sarah Silverman Program: The Complete Series - a TV comedy classic that's perfect for the DVD era, where we can all treasure it long after the tragedy of its premature demise has faded, leaving only its brilliant and amazingly well-executed creative vision; Top Gear 18 - Another great set of high octane, turbo-charged shows (with the traction control turned off); and Dog Bites Man: The Complete Series - a criminally overlooked series - howlingly, breathlessly funny- that deserves to be rediscovered on DVD. Other shows recently reviewed include:  Pawn Stars - Volume 4, Doctor Who: Resurrection of the Daleks, and Washington: Behind Closed Doors.  Want more?  Check out all of the TV on DVD reviews in the DVDTalk database.

DVD Savant: The Space Children, As Good As It Gets, and 1900
The Space Children This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews and articles including: The Space Children - A real oddity: a '50s American sci-fi picture with a pronounced, up-front anti-nuke, anti-defense, anti-Cold War attitude. Seven kids become 'voluntary' agents for a brain from outer space, and follow its orders to sabotage a military mission to put offensive nuclear weapons in orbit; As Good As It Gets - James L. Brooks pulls off a winner, with Jack Nicholson in a lively role and Helen Hunt, Greg Kinnear and Cuba Gooding Jr. all incredibly well cast; and 1900 - Bernardo Bertolucci's five-hour, fifteen-minute epic of the struggles between Italian farm landlords and working peasants comes to life in this near-flawless HD presentation. Read all this and more in this week's DVD Savant.

This Week's Notable DVDs: Wanderlust, Jeff, Who Lives at Home, and Project X (1968)
Wanderlust Some great discs are being released this week. Check out these TV shows that have just made their way to home video: Wanderlust [Blu-ray review] - a very funny movie, especially for existing fans of David Wain's particular brand of comedy; Jeff, Who Lives at Home [Blu-ray review] - a fruitful, funny and touching experience; and Project X (1968) [DVD review] - A typically entertaining William Castle entry: slighty goofy, yes...but undeniably intriguing. Other reviews of note include Project X: #xtendedcut (2011) [Blu-ray review], The Code [DVD review], and Trial & Retribution - Set 5 [DVD review]. Be sure to check out our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
