TV on DVD: Adventures Of Tintin, Episodes, and Misfits
The Adventures Of Tintin: Season Three TV on DVD remains very popular with more and more favorites being released. New TV reviews include: The Adventures Of Tintin: Season Three - This third and final season doesn't skip a beat in giving the series the finish it so richly deserves; Episodes: The First Season - A humorous hybrid of Brit and American wit, this 7-episode first season is a splendid skewering of celebrity and Hollywood; and Misfits: Season One - irreverently funny, ribald, and often quite smart, but above all, it's a fun. Other shows recently reviewed include:  Transformers Prime: One Shall Stand, The Untouchables: Season 4, Volume 1, and The Rookies - The Complete Second Season.  Want more?  Check out all of the TV on DVD reviews in the DVDTalk database.

DVD Savant: Incredible Mr. Limpet, Bye Bye Birdie, and Lonesome
The Incredible Mr. Limpet This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews and articles including: The Incredible Mr. Limpet - Don Knotts plays a different character than his usual apoplectic ditz, gaining our sympathy in a story that generates some weird scenes to go with its Technicolored live action/cartoon fun; Bye Bye Birdie - A pile of changes to the Broadway musical push Dick Van Dyke and Janet Leigh to one side and encourage Ann-Margret to steal the show; and Lonesome - half poetic imagery and half documentary realism, it's an amazing redisovery that's been very popular at film festivals. Read all this and more in this week's DVD Savant.
